News for the shortlist

Relevant headlines appear after shortlisting. News never approves, rejects or changes a stock’s ranking.

TRANSPARENT BY DESIGN

Understand agreement and technical scores.

The default list requires 8/8 explicit voting approvals for a proposed buy-stock plan. One rejection, missing source, or inapplicable role blocks inclusion. Review candidates are sorted by approval count, then fewer rejections, technical score and volume. Agreement counts are not probabilities. Ticket is excluded from assessment. Congress has no vote. News is informational only: relevant stock headlines, publisher, publication date and source links are shown for you to read after shortlisting. Missing, negative or unavailable news cannot block eligibility or alter ranking. Historical congressional trades cannot establish a current buy endorsement. Congress is informational only, including where Canadian coverage is unavailable; it does not count toward approval. Exit planning checks the long-stock exit plan, not the sell/reduce shortlist. Alerts check the manual level plan, not notification delivery. Options and sell-stock consensus are not assessed. The synthetic demo can never establish consensus.

A technical research score, not a probability of profit or a vote from independent AI analysts.

1. Scan & rank

TradingView screening: baseline 50, ±20 for price versus SMA50, up to ±15 for one-month momentum, +10 for price above SMA20 with RSI 45–70, minus up to 15 for large daily ranges. Scores are bounded at 0–100. Specialist lists use distinct preferences shown on each card. Snapshots older than one hour suppress recommendations. Detail simulations use separately sourced historical daily OHLC data.

2. Review the eight voting roles

The Day Trader Python tools power the deeper research adapters. Lightweight specialists screen the whole universe; simulation evidence grows as the background worker completes reports. News is fetched separately for shortlisted stocks and can be opened on review candidates, independently of price-history availability. The congressional role needs parsed transaction PDFs; its broad index is never treated as a ticker match. Unavailable or inapplicable roles show no invented picks.

3. Simulate possibilities

10,000 paths resample historical daily OHLC vectors from up to 120 completed sessions. Bands are empirical 5th, 25th, 50th, 75th and 95th percentiles. Session counts are not calendar-day forecasts. Independent draws omit regime changes and trading costs.

4. Inspect the trade type

Stock signals are non-personalized rule matches. Buying calls or puts and selling covered calls or cash-secured puts requires verified options-chain data. Naked options selling is disabled. No brokerage connection exists.

Coverage: all stock records supplied by the provider for NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX, CBOE, TSX, TSXV, CSE and NEO. OTC is excluded. Provider totals, missing indicators and exclusions are displayed. Quotes can be delayed; retrieval time is not an exchange trade timestamp. Background snapshots refresh every 15 minutes, while deeper research rotates across the full universe. Watchlists stay in this browser.
